Maternity

Whether you can't see your toes or haven't felt your baby move yet, it is very special to be pregnant.

Although you can't make your baby grow, you are the instrument.
Good food, peaceful environment are the ideal conditions.
In spite of your external body living experiences, the baby survives against many odds.
There are totally adverse conditions when even the mother is at risk.
She must get the job done, sometimes it may cost her dearly.
As women, we are up to it, I carried five full-term babies within a ten year period, so I know what I'm talking about. Most of the time I weighed about 105 pounds before pregnancy. Anemia, lack of food, adverse heat or cold depending on the season was my physical condition.
Still my babies were from seven and a half pounds to nine pounds and an ounce. They were more than full term. My youngest daughter was born in my tenth month of pregnancy, according to the doctor. Then they had to start my labor. That was a trip.
So enjoy the trip. It isn't forever (it may seem like it when they're teen agers). Treat yourself to something nice, no matter how small. Get some sleep. You will anyhow in the first three months. After that it will take some advanced planning, especially if you have more than one in diapers like I did.
Don't sweat the small stuff. It will all come out in the wash.

Do you wonder why you crave certain foods that you don't normally like, or don't eat foods that are usual for you to eat?
Our bodies have a built-in regulator that causes us to seek food. Most of the time when you go to the refrigerator to find a snack, it is in response to the hunger trigger in your brain (hypothalmus).
Find out how your body works.
Feet swollen? Be sure to take time for yourself. Recline in a comfortable chair and put your feet up. Make sure your feet are higher than your hips and lean back. The position helps your heart. Could prevent some extreme varicose veins.

Crawling promotes reading skills in baby. But you can use games for exercise.
Itsy bitsy spider game develops small finger muscles, but also helps eye and hand coordination. A small amount of time spent on giggling and eye contact makes baby more at ease, and a good traveling companion.
The Itsy, Bitsy Spider
The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun, and dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.

When your baby gets big enough to walk and go to school their teacher may have them do a project.
Please find the replica of a PLAQUE that may be printed for the refrigerator.
Or for crafters, it is a simple thing to make the plaster of paris plaque to hang on the wall.
